Final Round AI vs Yoodli 2026

Final Round AI and Yoodli both sell AI interview help, but one assists you during the interview and the other trains you before it. This comparison covers what each costs, what each does and who should pick which. It is written by a competitor, EchoPitch, so where either is the better choice we say so.

Final Round AI or Yoodli: which should you use?

Final Round AI and Yoodli solve different problems, so the better one depends on whether you want help during an interview or practice before it. Final Round AI sells a live Interview Copilot that prompts answers while a call is running, alongside mock interviews and a debrief, from $25 or more a month with no free trial. Yoodli is practice only: live AI roleplays that react to what you say, plus feedback on recordings you upload, from $8 a month on annual billing, with a free Starter plan capped at 5 lifetime sessions. If you want to get better at answering, choose Yoodli. If you want real-time prompts in the room, Final Round AI is the product that offers them, but check whether the employer allows AI assistance first, because that is a decision about the interview rules, not the software.

Final Round AI vs Yoodli: the differences that matter

Practice versus live assistance

Yoodli is a practice tool: you rehearse in roleplays and review feedback afterwards. Final Round AI includes practice interviews and a debrief, but its headline Pro feature is the Interview CoPilot, which works during live calls on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and Webex. The two are not substitutes: one trains you, the other prompts you.

The copilot question

Final Round AI markets a Stealth Mode as undetectable, although its FAQ softens that to designed to keep its windows out of supported screen shares. Its pricing page says nothing about whether employers permit AI help in interviews. Many employers and universities forbid it, and being caught can end an application. Yoodli has no equivalent feature, so the question does not arise.

Price and terms

Final Round AI shows a Pro price of $25+ a month, does not explain the plus, and states there is no free trial. A free tier covers goals, job-description parsing and the desktop app. Yoodli Pro is $8 a month and Advanced $20 a month, both for annual billing, with a free Starter plan of 5 lifetime sessions. Yoodli says it does not offer refunds on cancellation, and Final Round AI's pricing page lists no refund policy.

Where each runs

Final Round AI lists a desktop app for macOS 14.4 or later and Windows. Yoodli's pricing and FAQ pages do not list platforms. If you practise on a phone, check both before you pay.

Data and trust

Yoodli says Starter and Pro data may be used to improve the platform and that excluding your data from AI training is an Advanced feature. Final Round AI's pricing page marks its SOC 2 Type II badge as in progress. Read both privacy policies before recording anything sensitive.

Which one to choose

you want to improve how you answer, you want an AI that pushes back, and you want a free way to try it first.

Choose Final Round AI if →

you want a full interview-prep suite with a live copilot, and you have confirmed the interviewer's rules allow it.

Choose neither if →

you have one interview or presentation coming and want to hear how a complete run-through sounded. EchoPitch scores a recorded answer on pace, filler words, pauses and vocal variety, plus facial expression signals measured in your browser and content feedback from the transcript. It has no live copilot by design, and no ongoing free plan beyond the Pitch Scorer.

Frequently asked questions

Is Final Round AI better than Yoodli?

They do different jobs. Final Round AI is built around a live Interview Copilot that prompts answers during a call, plus mock interviews. Yoodli is practice only, with live AI roleplay and feedback on uploaded recordings. For improving your own answers, Yoodli is the cleaner fit; for in-the-moment prompts, only Final Round AI offers them.

How much do Final Round AI and Yoodli cost?

On 7 November 2026, Final Round AI Pro was shown as $25+ a month with no free trial and a free tier for goals and the desktop app. Yoodli Pro was $8 a month and Advanced $20 a month, both on annual billing, with a free Starter plan of 5 lifetime sessions.

Is Final Round AI's copilot allowed in interviews?

That is up to the employer, not the software. Final Round AI's pricing page does not say whether employers permit AI assistance. Many interview processes prohibit it, so read the instructions you were given before using any live prompting tool.

Does Yoodli have a live interview copilot?

No. Yoodli is a practice and feedback tool. It runs roleplays and reviews recordings; it does not prompt answers during a live call.

Which is better for mock interviews?

Both offer them. Yoodli's roleplays react to what you say and ask follow-up questions. Final Round AI includes practice interviews and an interview debrief as part of a wider suite. Neither is a substitute for rehearsing aloud with a recording you can listen back to.

What is a good alternative to both?

EchoPitch, if you want to rehearse one specific interview, pitch or presentation and get scored feedback on a full recorded run-through. It is a one-off ten-session trial then a monthly plan, with no live copilot and no annual commitment.
