Yoodli Review 2026
Yoodli is worth paying for if you already know what you want to say and need to fix how it comes out, and not worth it if your problem is the content. This review covers what each plan costs and includes, what the product measures well, where it falls short, and who should choose something else. It is written by EchoPitch, a competitor, so the concessions below are the ones we could not avoid making.
Quick verdict
Yoodli is worth paying for when rehearsal is the missing step and you will repeat the same kind of conversation: a job search, a run of presentations, or a sales role. Pro costs $8 a month billed annually, or about $11 month to month, for ten AI roleplays a week with filler, pace and eye-contact analytics, and that is less than one hour with a human coach. Advanced, at $20 a month annually, removes the cap and keeps your recordings out of model training. It is not worth paying for if you do not yet know what to say, because Yoodli grades delivery and not content; if you need it for one event, because the headline price needs a year; or if you want to know how convincing you looked rather than how many fillers you used, which is the gap EchoPitch was built to fill. The free plan is five lifetime sessions and should be treated as a demo.
Yoodli pricing in 2026

The month-to-month figures come from Yoodli's blog and third-party reviews, because the pricing page displays annual billing only; confirm at checkout. The plan lineup was restructured in 2025, when the free tier was tightened and Advanced was introduced.
What Yoodli does well
- Live AI roleplay that asks follow-up questions, so you have to think on your feet rather than recite. The 2026 multi-persona mode adds panel interviews and buying committees.
- Objective delivery metrics: filler words, pace, eye contact, vocabulary, with trend dashboards on Advanced. The numbers are consistent session to session, which is what makes them useful.
- Feedback on real meetings, not only practice. Upload a recording or connect the meeting tools and get the same analysis on a call you actually had.
- Cheap against the alternative. Pro at $8 a month billed annually is a fraction of a single hour with a human speech coach.
- Enterprise-grade compliance for a consumer-priced product: SOC 2 Type 2, SSO and SCIM on team plans, and data excluded from training on Advanced.
Where it falls short
- The free tier is five roleplays for the life of the account, not five a month. It is a demo. Every serious use needs a paid plan.
- The headline prices need annual billing. Month to month, Pro is around $11 and Advanced around $28, roughly 40% more.
- It judges delivery, not content. Yoodli will tell you that you said "um" nine times; it will not tell you that your answer missed the question.
- English only, at the time of checking.
- The company's focus has moved to enterprise. Since the $40M Series B in December 2025 the homepage leads with sales onboarding and manager training, and reviewers have started noting that individual features move more slowly.
- Webcam metrics can feel reductive. Eye contact is scored as a percentage, which rewards staring at the lens rather than looking like someone worth listening to.
Who should pay for Yoodli
Job seekers in an active search
The roleplay interviewer's follow-up questions are the best rehearsal for thinking on your feet short of a human, and the 2026 panel mode covers the format most candidates never get to practise. Buy Pro for the duration of the search and cancel after; it is the case Yoodli is best at.
Sales reps and managers whose employer will pay
Advanced with reimbursement invoices, or a team plan, is how most Yoodli seats are sold now. If your conversations repeat and your company will fund it, the trend dashboards start to earn their keep after a month.
Anyone who wants metrics on real meetings
Uploading a recording of an actual call and getting the same fillers, pace and talk-time analysis is something few rehearsal tools do. If your problem is Tuesday's stand-up rather than next month's pitch, this is the feature that matters.
Who should choose something else
You do not know what to say yet
Yoodli scores how you said it. If you are still working out your interview stories or your pitch narrative, a content tool comes first: Himalayas generates questions from the job description, Huru grades against the STAR structure, Big Interview teaches the method. Delivery feedback on an answer that misses the question is feedback on the wrong thing.
You have one event and no wish to subscribe for a year
The $8 and $20 prices require annual billing. For a single presentation, pitch or interview, a fixed-price session pack is cheaper and simpler. EchoPitch's trial is five scored sessions for a one-off payment; Microsoft Speaker Coach is free inside PowerPoint.
You need to know how convincing you looked, not how many fillers you used
A filler count is useful for about a week. After that the question is whether you sounded like someone worth backing, and that needs scoring of confidence and composure rather than mechanics. EchoPitch reads facial signals alongside voice to score exactly that; Yoodli's camera metric is eye-contact percentage.
You want prompts during live calls rather than rehearsal
Poised runs in the background of Zoom and Teams and nudges you in the moment. Yoodli analyses the recording afterwards. Different problem, different tool.

Yoodli review FAQ
Is Yoodli worth paying for?
Yes, if you already know what you want to say and your problem is how it comes out. For a job search, a run of presentations or a sales role where you rehearse the same conversations repeatedly, Pro at $8 a month billed annually pays for itself against one hour with a human coach. It is not worth paying for if your problem is deciding what to say, if you need feedback on the content of interview answers, or if you want one-off preparation for a single event, because the annual commitment is where the headline price comes from.
How much does Yoodli cost in 2026?
Starter is free with five lifetime roleplays. Pro is $8 a month billed annually, or about $11 month to month, with up to ten roleplays a week. Advanced is $20 a month billed annually, or about $28 month to month, with unlimited roleplays and deeper analytics. Team and Enterprise plans are custom priced. Yoodli's pricing page shows the annual-billed figures; the monthly figures are from third-party reviews and Yoodli's own blog, so confirm at checkout.
Is the Yoodli free plan enough?
Only to see whether you like the interface. Five roleplays for the lifetime of the account is two or three practice sessions before an interview and then nothing, and any session over thirty seconds counts against the five. If you want to practise properly without paying, Exponent's peer mock interviews are free and Microsoft Speaker Coach is included with PowerPoint. If you want to try a scored delivery coach for a fixed price with no subscription, EchoPitch's five-session trial is the closest equivalent.
What is the difference between Yoodli Pro and Advanced?
Pro caps you at ten roleplays a week and allows your session data to be used to train Yoodli's models. Advanced removes the cap, adds trend tracking across sessions, excludes your data from training by default, and issues invoices that employers will accept for professional-development reimbursement. If you practise most days, or if your recordings contain anything confidential, Advanced is the one to choose. The $12 a month difference is mostly buying the data setting and the analytics.
Does Yoodli work for interviews?
Yes, and it is one of the better uses. The AI interviewer asks follow-up questions rather than working through a fixed list, the 2026 panel mode simulates several interviewers, and the filler, pace and eye-contact metrics are exactly the delivery faults interviewers notice. What it does not do is grade the substance of your answer against the question, so pair it with a content tool such as Himalayas or Huru if you are still working out your stories. Our ranking of mock interview apps covers the trade-off.
How does Yoodli compare to EchoPitch?
Yoodli is broader and cheaper: meeting analysis, live roleplay, trend dashboards, from $8 a month on an annual plan. EchoPitch is narrower and deeper on high-stakes delivery: each recorded session is scored on confidence, composure, clarity and persuasion using voice and facial signals, for a five-session trial and then a monthly plan with no annual commitment. Choose Yoodli for metrics on everything you say at work; choose EchoPitch when a specific presentation, pitch or interview matters and you want to know how you came across, not just how many fillers you used.
