The banner on poised.com reads “Poised is shutting down on 10/8/2026”, which in Poised's US date format is 8 October 2026. As of 26 September 2026 there is no shutdown blog post, no help-centre article, no export instructions and no recommended alternative, and the pricing page still sells Pro at $19 a month or $13 a month billed annually. Before 8 October: what to do and when
Check your renewal date. Poised's refund policy gives no refunds or credits for unused time, and its pricing page was still selling annual plans on 26 September. Do not start or renew one.
Copy out what you want to keep: summaries and action items from recent meetings, and screenshots of your trend charts. Poised has published no export route for the shutdown.
Install replacements by function (live nudges, notes, rehearsal) and use them in real meetings while Poised still works, so you can compare the two side by side.
Rehearse any high-stakes call booked in the first week without Poised, rather than finding out in the room that the overlay has gone.
Delete your account from Poised's settings (Settings, then delete account) and uninstall the Mac or Windows app.

Microsoft Speaker Coach in Teams meetings
Gave private live feedback in Teams meetings. Retired in August 2025, confirmed by Microsoft Q&A in January 2026, although some Microsoft documentation still describes it. The PowerPoint rehearsal version remains.
Yoodli for meeting review
Its online-meetings page now redirects to a crucial-conversations use case and the desktop app help article returns a 404. It still sells roleplay practice and feedback on uploads.

In September 2026 Yoodli sells AI roleplay practice and feedback on recordings you upload; its former online-meetings page now redirects to a crucial-conversations use case, its desktop app help article returns a 404, and the last desktop release note is from November 2024. Yoodli has not announced a retirement. It remains a strong rehearsal tool, with a free Starter plan of five roleplays and Pro at $8 a month billed annually or $11 monthly, but it is not a replacement for Poised's live prompts.
Should I replace Poised with live prompts or with rehearsal?
Keep live prompts for routine meetings and rehearse for the ones that matter. A nudge to stop hedging in a weekly stand-up costs nothing. In a board update, investor pitch, interview or difficult conversation, an on-screen prompt adds load at the moment you have least to spare, and glancing at it reads as distraction. For those, record a run-through the day before, fix the two weakest moments, and walk in without a screen to watch. Many Poised users needed both, which is why the answer is usually two tools rather than one.
What should I do before Poised closes?
